(Bangkok Post file photo)The Meteorological Department has warned people in upper Thailand to prepare for variable and cooler weather with temperatures dropping 4-6°C in the Northeast. It would initially bring thunderstorms and some heavy rain to parts of the lower Northeast, East and Central regions. Cooler weather would follow, especially in the Northeast where temperatures would decrease by 4-6°C. The moderate northeast monsoon across the Gulf and the South of Thailand is still continual, often heavy rain to parts of this region.
